Nord Pool Spot has decided to postpone the release of the new Elspot trading system, SESAM.
Background
In March 2007, Nord Pool Spot announced that the new Elspot trading system, SESAM would be launched during May (exchange information no 15/2007). Training has been conducted for participants, and the system is available for participant training and testing of EDIEL message reception. Daily operational and stress testing has though not been finalised yet. Therefore Nord Pool Spot has decided to postpone the release.
Expected launch date
Launch date for the system will be announced with 2 week’s notice, thus giving participants time to receive user login information and validate access to the system.
Launch date will be announced when operational and stress testing has been finalised in order to ensure that the system provides a solid and efficient platform for Elspot trading.
