Nord Pool Spot today announced that Marianne Wergeland Jenssen has started as Director Markets and operations. Wergeland Jenssen will be responsible for all current markets, both the Nordic market and the UK market offering N2EX.
Wergeland Jenssen’s last position was Senior Vice President Financial Markets Nord Pool ASA / Nasdaq, a position she held for five years. As a result of an increasing number of participants trading on the exchange and the establishment of new markets, Marianne Wergeland Jenssen now is responsible for the merged departments of markets and operations. The new department is responsible for the day to day market operations, overall customer satisfaction, new sales and product development of Nord Pool Spot.
Hans Randen is responsible for the newly established department of European integration, which will focus on the expansion into new geographic markets and new business affairs.
