Nord Pool Spot will undertake an infrastructural upgrade of the intraday trading platform Elbas on Tuesday 15 October 2013. The upgrade will improve the performance and robustness of the platform and includes a new dedicated backup recovery site. These changes are important to maintain a well-functioning intraday platform covering multiple markets and interconnectors.
Upgrade details:
The upgrade will start at 16:00 CET Tuesday 15 October and is expected to take 3-4 hours; exact information will be communicated in an Operational Message. The market will be closed during the upgrade.
Before and after the upgrade, members will be able to access the Elbas trading platform using https://elbas.nordpoolspot.com.
Technical impact:
The upgrade will not change the Elbas interface nor will it change the application functionalities. The changes will impact addressing and connections only, in particular affecting the connectivity of:
1) Elbas trading application
2) Elbas reporting services
Testing:
The upgraded Elbas trading platform has been verified for the last months with all members through numerous test sessions conducted since the beginning of June 2013. If you are in any doubt whether or not you will have access to the system through your company’s firewalls, despite the thorough testing, please contact your IT-department.
For those who still want to verify login to the new Elbas trading platform, please contact Nord Pool Spot.
