Nord Pool Spot have been informed that in the case of a curtailment situation in Lithuania, the Lithuanian transmission system operator, LITGRID AB, will offer peak load production capacity of 50 MWh in all hours for the day of curtailment at a fixed price of 203 Euro per MWh. The peak load production capacity volume and price are approved by the Lithuanian National Control Commission for Prices and Energy, and will be effectuated only in the case of a curtailment situation in the Lithuanian bidding area.
This procedure will be implemented with effect from delivery day 1 June 2013.
