Procurement of aFRR (automatic Frequency Restoration Reserve) in the second half of 2017
The Nordic TSOs have decided to procure a total volume up to 300 MW during weekdays (Monday to Friday) in the second half of 2017. The TSOs will procure aFRR in the morning and evening hours where the frequency variations are most challenging.
The procurement will contain following hours:
week 26-33, no procurement
week 34-43, morning hours 5:00-8:00 (CET), evening hours 17:00-20:00 (CET)
week 44-46, morning hours 5:00-8:00 (CET), evening hours 19:00-22:00 (CET)
week 47-51, morning hours 5:00-8:00 (CET), evening hours 17:00-21:00 (CET)
week 52, no procurement
