On Sunday 29 October, the time will be set back one hour from 03.00 to 02.00 am CET due to the change from summer time (daylight-saving time) to standard time.
These are the guidelines for the spot market:
The Elspot market
Ediel bidding: In the Ediel bid, both the bid and the price message that are in standard time, will contain 25 hours for this day. The bid should be placed from the 24th hour of 28 October until the 24th hour of 29 October. Hours 2 and 3 (standard time) must contain the same values.
Nord Pool Spot's ElWeb program:
There will be no changes for bids sent with the ElWeb program, with bids given for up to 24 hours. The value for hour 3 must not be doubled. The ElWeb system will automatically take care of the transition from summer time to normal time.
NB! Participants shall not double the value for the 3rd hour.
Printing the price message:
The printed price message from Nord Pool Spot will only show prices, quantities and turnover for 24 hours. No double values for the 3rd hour. All sums and average values have been calculated with a double value for the 3rd hour.
The value for the 3rd hour will be doubled in settlement and invoices.
