From 7 October 2015 market participants are required by Article 8 of REMIT to provide ACER with their record of wholesale energy market transactions through a selected Registered Reporting Mechanisms (RRM).
As a registered RRM, Nord Pool Spot is pleased to confirm that we will offer market participants an automated, secure and flexible REMIT Transaction Reporting Service from day one.
Testing commences 9 September
For market participants who have already registered to use Nord Pool Spot’s REMIT reporting service, end-to-end testing will commence from 9 September. As part of the testing, market participants will be able to access the REMIT Reporting Portal, download the xml report files and access ACER receipts.
To take part in the testing, simply notify Nord Pool Spot at remit.testing@npspot.com. Once registered, we will distribute and send out login ID’s to access the test environment, along with login instructions and a link to the REMIT service user manual.

Nord Pool Spot’s REMIT Transaction Reporting Service
Nord Pool Spot’s service gives market participants a flexible solution with automated reporting of contracts traded on Nord Pool Spot/N2EX day-ahead and intraday markets directly to the ACER system, simply and efficiently meeting all participant obligations under REMIT.
In addition Nord Pool Spot can, as part of our service, deliver ACER XML files on behalf of a market participant to a third party RRM, or directly to the market participant.
If a market participant’s chosen solution is not ready for the 7 October deadline, Nord Pool Spot is happy to act as an interim RRM. If you have any questions regarding REMIT reporting, please contact your Regional Market Manager.
