At the Heart of Europex

Nord Pool’s Chief Financial Officer, Erling Thiis, is set to continue as a Board member at Europex, the 27 member not-for-profit association of European energy exchanges. In addition Rickard Nilsson, Nord Pool’s Manager Market Design, was recently appointed Head of the organisation’s Power Markets Working Group.

Erling Thiis commented: “I am pleased to be able to serve as part the Europex leadership team in the spirit of working cooperation which the association has established. These are changing times for the energy sector and Europex has an important role to play in explaining and demonstrating the benefits of well-functioning power markets.”
